Fate of The West: The Age of Disruption

In both the offline and online world, turmoil is the emergent theme of this century. From cheap drone technology to DDOS attacks; from Brexit to Trump’s election; from Antifa to right-wing trolls, disruption is endemic within modern life.

Technology has changed the terms we play on, prompting this upheaval.

Birth Control has disrupted the natural tide of sexuality, cars have disrupted the natural movement of the body and social media has disrupted our natural means of communication.

And all of this is leading to chaos.

The Cycles of Civilization

Chaos is part of a natural cycle – the civilizational cycle. The hypothesis goes that civilizations have 250 year spans, demarking 10 generations, before they collapse. The same hypothesis argues that there are 6 distinct stages of the civilization.

Stage 1: The Age of Pioneers

Strong, pioneering individuals push forwards breaking new boundaries and new frontiers. They explore and invent.

Stage 2: The Age of Conquest

In this stage, emergent civilizations conquer others and establish themselves and their power.

Stage 3: The Age of Commerce

Here they use trade to reinforce this power, making the civilization wealthy. The goal is to accumulate as much wealth as possible for the over arching structure.

Stage 4: The Age of Affluence

With entrenched wealth, patronage of fine buildings, art and consumption of luxury products is the sign of the times. Merchants build palaces, invest in communications and construct grand infrastructure projects.

Stage 5: The Age of Intellect

In this epoch, instead of universities being sparse and prestigious academies where only the brightest go, they proliferate and lower the barrier to entry. Schools no longer focus on creating brave, masculine patriots, but rather on educational qualifications to get high paying jobs.

Stage 6: The Age of Decadence

Finally, Decadence emerges. This is the death-rasp of any civilization. With too long a period of wealth and power, selfishness and the love of money takes precedence. Consequently, defensiveness and pessimism grasp the nation; materialism is the abiding faith system, weakening religion. All of this compounds, degrading personal pride, patriotism and a sense of duty.

This, coupled with the unique external circumstances of each civilization eventually leads to its demise.

Now, there is much more depth to the Fate of Empires than this TL;DR summary given by your boy Jack, (read here if you’re interested in the full breakdown) but this is its essence.

Within these epochs there are both wider and smaller cycles which also contribute heavily to civilizational health, including: hormonal cycles (already touched upon), feminization of cultures (sounds familiar) and declining importance of the values which the empire was built upon (seems to be a theme emerging?) all of which can contribute to collapse.

But overarching it all is Order versus Chaos.

Duality

At the beginning of every civilization there is chaos – as the result of prior disruption – which must be vanquished for order to emerge. This is what all great conquerors do.  They unleash a greater magnitude of chaos to enforce order on the world. Through reaping destruction on their enemies, they unify and lay down their authority.

As a result, new values are established, laws are created and commerce flourishes, enriching the civilization they birth.

But humans are not purely ordered beings. We are not hive insects; mindless drones who work purely in service of others. No, humans are hierarchy seeking individuals with personal needs and desires who, if they feel that their needs are not being met by the external order, rebel.

When enough feel like this, chaos re-emerges.

After a period of time another great party of men rise and re-establish order – and so the cycle repeats.

For the smart amongst you, a pattern may have emerged here. You will have noticed parallels with the West; the old order is crumbling, institutions of order are being undermined, decadence has emerged and chaos is rearing its ugly – inevitable – head.

Look at current societal trends:

The institution of law is being crippled by visible and undeniable violations – Jeffery Epstein’s ‘suicide’; the entrenched institutions enforcing its values are being chipped away – The EU and Brexit; journalistic neutrality is no-longer a reality – fake news; and democracy has devolved into a reality TV show – Trump, Trudeau and Johnson are all caricatures, not statesman (despite having their strengths).

You can see the foundation of the West; the values and institutions our civilization was founded on are being eroded before our eyes.

Couple this with declining testosterone rates, over-estroginised women, rampant degeneracy and a feminized society and it is clear the writing is on the wall.

The collapse is in full swing, but it has not yet reached critical mass.

There is still hope.

A New Order

The internet, which has contributed to much of this chaos, has the duality present in all things. It’s connected people who have the vision to see how order must come – people with the strength of will to create it.

These guys are Aion Media.

They are smart, powerful and intelligent men and women who have a shared vision for a better world; a goal congruent with my own. We are allies in this fight and support each other.

As such, they invited me to be a speaker at AionCon – an honour which I greatly appreciate.

Comprising individuals with a strong set of ethics, Aion Media will not deliver anything substandard – which is exactly why your Twitter feed is saturated with this event. Everyone involved truly believes in it.

AionCon is the first of an enterprise which has the power to change the world. There are over 30 speakers – aside from myself – who are all experts in their respective fields.

None of them were signed up for name-value alone, but were stringently vetted based on the value they provide.

Consequently, the value you can gain is unparalleled.

This knowledge will prime you to deal with modern upheaval and take advantage of the opportunities available.

In doing so, you will be able to impact the world and prevent disruption descending into destruction.

But even if you don’t share this grand, noble vision, the potential for personal development held within is unparalleled.

For example, I gave an hour long talk about my philosophy for a fulfilling life. I described the three areas you must focus on to achieve this, and included tons of actionable information which will help you grow as an individual.

And this is just my own talk. Compounded with the others, your capacity for advancement is boundless.

Beyond this, with purchase of the VIP package you will get over $1300 of extras including – but not limited to – a free 2 hour call with Huntsman (@man_integrated), Bill Masur’s (@futureinmindd) ‘Book of Uncomfortable Truths’, ‘Holy Shift’ by @ChroniclesNate, ‘The Five Pillars of The Ascendant Mind’ by Chance Lunceford (@logocentrifugal) ‘MasterSelf Year One’ and ‘MasterSelf Year Two’ by Garrett Dailey (@Libera_Rex) and more besides.

The value on offer is substantial.

The possibility for growth is huge.

So whether you want to save the world, or merely yourself – the reality is, the two are one – this is an opportunity that cannot be missed.

Be part of something great.

Be part of the future.

Be part of AionCon.

I am fully behind this event guys, beyond being a speaker. I really believe in Aion Media’s vision for the future and this is a fantastic way you can both support their mission, and benefit yourself.
